Agent Operations
Agent Trust Boundary
Also: trust boundary
A line where text or authority passes between zones that deserve different levels of trust, such as from a web page into an agent or from an agent into a shell.
In more detail
Trust boundaries show where checks belong. In an agent setup the usual ones are untrusted text entering the agent's context, the agent calling a tool, the tool acting on your machine, and your machine sending data to the network. For each crossing, ask what verifies it.
