Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Introduction
The website agentbeam.com, the Agentbeam local runtime recorder, the Beam Sentinel browser extension, our command-line tools, and our optional cloud dashboard (collectively, the “Platform”) are owned and operated by AISOLO Technologies Private Limited (“Agentbeam”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Company”), having its registered office at 1003, Kamdhenu Commerz, Sector 14, Kharghar 410210, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between the Company and any person or entity that accesses or uses the Platform (“you”, “your”, “User”).
Agentbeam provides a local-first security and observability layer for AI coding agents, including: (i) a runtime recorder that logs agent shell commands, file changes, tool calls and network activity to local files, (ii) heuristic scanners for MCP server configurations and SKILL.md files, (iii) a browser extension that checks prompts against local rules before they are sent to AI assistant websites, (iv) command-line tooling, and (v) an optional cloud dashboard through which teams and organizations can sync policy configuration and view aggregated findings (collectively, the “Service”).
By using or accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a cloud dashboard account. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use.
3. Open-source components and licensing
Certain Agentbeam components are distributed under open-source licenses. Where a component is open source, its own license file governs your rights to that component and takes precedence over these Terms for matters of copying, modification and redistribution of that component's source code. These Terms otherwise continue to govern your use of the Platform's hosted services, including the cloud dashboard, website, and any Agentbeam-branded distribution.
4. Plans, fees and payment
Agentbeam is available on a free tier for individual use, and on paid team and enterprise plans that add cloud sync, fleet visibility, and administrative controls. Current pricing is displayed on the Platform before purchase.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance for the selected billing period and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card details
- Except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, fees are non-refundable
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price increase before it applies to your next renewal
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform to violate any applicable law or third party's rights
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any non-open-source component of the Platform, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits
- Resell or white-label the Platform without our prior written consent
- Use the Platform to build a directly competing product using data or access obtained through your account
- Introduce malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts or data
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or interfere with another user's use of the Platform
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate this section, with notice where reasonably practicable.
6. Data ownership and license grant
As between you and us, you own the activity data recorded by the Platform about your agents, repositories and infrastructure. You grant us a limited license to process data you or your organization choose to sync to the cloud dashboard solely to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Service, and not to train third-party foundation models.
We own the Platform itself, including our scanning heuristics, rule sets, product design and the Agentbeam trademarks, except for components expressly licensed as open source.
7. Local-first architecture and your responsibilities
Because activity recorded locally by the Platform stays on your own device by default, you are responsible for securing the device and storage location where that data is written, for its backup, and for its retention or deletion in line with your own policies. We have no access to, and cannot recover, locally stored data that you have not synced to the cloud dashboard.
8. Third-party integrations
The Platform integrates with third-party AI providers, coding assistants, MCP servers, and IDEs that you connect or configure. These integrations are subject to the third party's own terms and availability, and we do not control or guarantee their behavior, uptime, or output.
We use PostHog for product analytics on the marketing website to understand aggregate usage and improve the Platform, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect the other's confidential information disclosed in connection with the Service (such as non-public product roadmap information we share with you, or non-public organizational data you share with us) using no less care than it uses for its own confidential information of similar nature, and not to disclose it to third parties except as necessary to provide or receive the Service, or as required by law.
10. Availability, force majeure and third-party links
10.1 Availability: We aim for high availability of the cloud dashboard but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs may cause temporary downtime.
10.2 Force majeure: Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or utility outages, and acts of government.
10.3 Third-party links: The Platform may link to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.
11. Disclaimers
Agentbeam observes and flags. It does not block — today.
The Service is a monitoring, evidence and scanning tool. It is designed to surface risky agent activity and configuration issues for your review; unless a specific feature is explicitly described as blocking (such as the browser extension's prompt check), Agentbeam does not prevent an agent from taking an action. You remain responsible for reviewing flagged activity and for the actions your agents take.
The Platform's scanners perform heuristic pattern matching, not semantic malware analysis, and do not guarantee that a scanned MCP server, skill file, or agent action is safe. THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGENTBEAM AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR FROM AN AGENT ACTION THAT THE PLATFORM DID NOT FLAG OR DID NOT BLOCK. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF YOU ARE ON THE FREE TIER.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Agentbeam harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.
14. Term and termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Platform. You may stop using the Platform, or cancel a paid subscription, at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required to protect the security or integrity of the Platform. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 9 (Confidentiality), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification) and 17 (Miscellaneous) — will survive.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify registered account holders. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
