Agent Security
Privilege Escalation
Also: privesc
Gaining more access than was granted, for example from a normal user to admin, or from one service to another.
In more detail
Attackers chain small permissions into large ones: a readable token file, a sudo rule, an over-broad cloud role. An agent that can read configuration or environment variables may stumble into escalation without being malicious, which is why credentials should not sit where the agent can see them by default.
